GODSMACK
TAKE HOME FOUR BOSTON MUSIC AWARDS
INCLUDING "ACT OF THE YEAR" AND "ALBUM OF THE YEAR"

GODSMACK--one of the top winners at the 14th annual Boston Music Awards--were on hand at the April 19 ceremony in their Boston hometown to receive four trophies: "Act of the Year," "Best Rock Band," "Album of the Year" for the band's platinum-certified AWAKE (Republic/Universal) and "Male Vocalist of the Year" for frontman SULLY ERNA. The band led the list of nominees with seven nods overall.

This news comes just as GODSMACK--SULLY (vocals), TONY ROMBOLA (guitar), ROBBIE MERRILL (bass), TOMMY STEWART (drums)--wrap up a major sold-out headlining North American tour and begin preparation for a European arena tour with Limp Bizkit. This high-profile trek is scheduled to kick off May 16 in Amsterdam and will travel to 21 different cities in five weeks, including two-night stands in cites such as Milan, Lisbon and London. From there, GODSMACK will return to the U.S. mid-July for the much-anticipated launch of their first-ever major outdoor amphitheater tour. Deftones will join GODSMACK for what will surely be the most exciting hard rock tour in the coming months. Tour dates will be announced soon.
