CHART-TOPPING ACT OFFER SPECIAL CONCERT DEAL AT JACKSONVILLE AREA NAVY BASES

New York, NY - GODSMACK, the multi-platinum-selling Boston-based rock band, will be providing extra-low ticket prices for their April 29th Jacksonville, FL show to Navy personnel stationed at nearby Naval Station Mayport, Naval Air Station Jacksonville and Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay, GA.

GODSMACK are heading out on the road in support of their brand new album, FACELESS, which debuted this week at #1 on the Billboard Top 200. The band will be offering military personnel and their families tickets to their already-low priced show for a mere $10 when purchased at base Morale, Welfare and Recreation ticket offices.

This is not the first time GODSMACK have 'pledged their allegiance' to the U.S. Navy, as their song "Awake" can be heard in a frequently-played commercial for Navy recruiting. "We're very proud of our troops and we appreciate their support, and this is our small way of showing our support for them" says vocalist Sully Erna.

The Navy is also proud of their association with the band. "It's certainly a thrill to hear that strong intro to the Navy's current Accelerate Your Life commercials," said LT Brad Fagan, Public Affairs Officer at Naval Station Mayport. "There's no better feeling than knowing that groups like Godsmack support our Sailors."
